PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SalClean™ is an effective anti-Salmonella mixture of potent organic acids and salts with highly selected and purified essential oils. All of these synergistic compounds have typical broad-spectrum anti-microbial features, especially against Salmonella spp. SalClean™ is of great significance as bio-hygienic treatment of swine and poultry feed.The grey-whitish, non-corrosive granular material is freeflowing and heat stable during manufacturing of premixes and processing of raw materials or complete diets.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Active ingredients:

• Dietary organic acids and their salts: Benzoic acid, (4d210), Calcium propionate (E282), Calcium formate (E238), Citric acid (E330), Calcium Lactate (E327), Calcium butyrate
• Phytobiotics: highly purified, plant-extracted essential oil compounds
• Mineral carrier: mycotoxin-binding Sepiolite clay (E562)

Physico-chemical features:

• Pack density: 0.7 – 0.9 g/cm³
• Moisture: < 10%
• pH-value (10% solution): 3.5 – 5.5
• Olfactory: very perceptive odor (organic acids & botanic aromaticals)

PACKAGING:

SalClean™ is packed in 25 kg net multi-layer paper bags with a strong, impermeable inner lining against moisture and oxidation.

SUPPLEMENTATION GUIDELINE:

• Dosage recommendations for SalClean™:
  0.5 – 3 kg/mT: for standard diets; for storage of all oil-derived vegetal meals (e.g. SBM)
  3 – 5 kg/mT: for complete diets with indicated problems of microbial contamination; for high-fat fishmeal, meat-and bone meal, etc.
  SalClean™ is not to be applied through the drinking water since it has no high solubility.

• Storage conditions:
  Please keep in tightly closed original bag and store in a cool, dark and dry place. SalClean™ is a stable product under above conditions for a period of 24 months from manufacturing date. After this period quality should be checked before use. Small variations in color are possible yet not affecting the intrinsic activity and performance.
