    Description

Amprolium is a coccidiostat (antiprotozoal) used for the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in calves, sheep, goats, chickens (broilers and breeders) and other fowl such as turkeys, with activity against Eimeria spp., especially Eimeria tenella and Eimeria necatrix. It is a thiamine (vitamin B1) analogue and its pharmacological effect relies on competitive inhibition of thiamine uptake.
Amprolium competitively inhibits the active transport of thiamine in isolated second-generation schizonts of Eimeria spp. and in host intestinal cells. Upon ingestion of amprolium, the coccidia experience thiamine deficiency and starve from malnutrition.

  • Biocillin-500 WS

    Composition
    Contains per gram powder:

    • Amoxycillin trihydrate 500 mg.
    • Excipients ad 1 g.

    Description

Amoxycillin is a bacterial semisynthetic penicillin with a broad spectrum of activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It owes its activity to the inhibition of the development of the peptidoglycan network structure in the bacterial cell wall. Amoxycillin is well absorbed following oral administration and it is stable in the presence of gastric acids. Excretion of amoxycillin is mainly in the unchanged form via the kidneys to give high concentration in renal tissue and urine. Amoxycillin is well distributed in body fluids.

Studies in birds have indicated that amoxycillin is distributed and eliminated more rapidly than in mammals.

    Indications

Treatment of infections in chickens, turkeys and ducks caused by bacteria susceptible to amoxycillin.

Not effective against beta-lactamase producing organisms. Use of the product should be based on susceptibility testing and it should take into account official and local antimicrobial policies.

Pigs: For the treatment of salmonellosis and pasteurellosis.

EnziBlend Protein Plus™ is a concentrated, multi-purpose additive, specially formulated to improve overall digestibility of protein rich raw materials The smart combination of exogenous carbohydrase, pectinase (to increase nutrient availability) and protease (extra amino acid absorption), delivers nutritionists a complete tool to utilize the non-digested fractions inside the animal’s gut. These bio-catalysts simply boost nutrient availability, far above the endogenous capabilities of the monogastric animal itself. EnziBlend Protein Plus™ Is a grey-whitish, free-flowing micro-granular powder for easy dosing and uniform mixing and can easily be incorporated into the premix or final feed. They complement with the limited amount of the animal’s own enzymes, in order to reach a more complete digestion. Each of them are well-coated, pH-stable, and heat-resistant up to 75°C.

  • IBA-VAC

FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE (IBD)

    Package:
    1000-dose vials
    2500-dose vials
    5000-dose vials

    COMPOSITION

1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 103 EID50

    TARGET SPECIES

    Poultry.

    INDICATIONS

    Prophylaxis of Infectious Bursal disease.

    DOSAGE
IBA-VAC can be administered both to broilers and light and heavy layers; one application is enough to induce a long lasting immunity. The most appropriate age for the vaccination is at around the 3rd week of life in order to avoid the contrasting action of maternal antibodies which are present in the chickens for a considerable time.
Taking into account the difficulties in delaying the penetration of the infection on farms, even if valid measures of direct prevention are adopted (disinfection, “all in-all out”, isolation, ecc.), vaccination at 12-15 days of life is advisable.
Immunity is established after 10-15 days from vaccination, also in relation to the level of passive maternal antibodies.
    STORAGE
Store in a refrigerator at +2°C to +8°C (avoid freezing).
