    Package:
    250-ml vials (500 doses)
    500-ml vials (1000 doses)

    COMPOSITION

    1 dose of vaccine contains:

According to the usual vaccination schedule, the chicks will already have been vaccinated:

    1) against Newcastle disease with a live attenuated vaccine type B1 or La Sota, this leads to the development of good immunity in the respiratory mucosa;

    2) against Infectious Bursal disease with a live attenuated vaccine at the age of 6 weeks. This causes an enhancement of activity at the time of vaccination with the inactivated vaccine.

The subject must be vaccinated with 0.5 ml of the vaccine by subcutaneous route (in the back of the neck) or by intramuscular route (in the breast).

    STORAGE
Store in a refrigerator at +2°C to +8°C (avoid freezing).

FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE (IBD)

    Package:
    1000-dose vials
    2500-dose vials

    TARGET SPECIES

    Poultry.

    INDICATIONS

    Prophylaxis of Infectious Bursal disease.

    DOSAGE
IBA-VAC can be administered both to broilers and light and heavy layers; one application is enough to induce a long lasting immunity. The most appropriate age for the vaccination is at around the 3rd week of life in order to avoid the contrasting action of maternal antibodies which are present in the chickens for a considerable time.
Taking into account the difficulties in delaying the penetration of the infection on farms, even if valid measures of direct prevention are adopted (disinfection, “all in-all out”, isolation, ecc.), vaccination at 12-15 days of life is advisable.
Immunity is established after 10-15 days from vaccination, also in relation to the level of passive maternal antibodies.
    STORAGE
Store in a refrigerator at +2°C to +8°C (avoid freezing).

  • VAIOL-VAC

FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST FOWL POX

    Package: 1000-dose vials plus diluent

    COMPOSITION

1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 104 EID50

    TARGET SPECIES

    Poultry.

    INDICATIONS

    Prophylaxis of Fowl Pox.

    DOSAGE
Dissolve the contents of the vial in the diluent, then shake it until complete dissolving takes place; pour a small quantity of the ready-to-use vaccine into the plastic container in the box; dip the needles of the apposite applicator into the reconstituted vaccine, then pierce the wing’s cutaneous fold (perform vaccination with only one needle when dealing with animals of less than 6 weeks).
The onset of a nodular swelling in the site of inoculation (after 6 days from the injection) means that the vaccination has been successful.
The vaccination can be performed on healthy chickens of every age and in any season of the year.
Chickens vaccinated earlier than 5-6 weeks of age acquire a short-lived immunity. In this case, it is advisable to revaccinate parents and layers before the beginning of the laying period.
In cases of urgent prevention, given the slow propagation of the Fowl Pox infection, the birds affected by or suspected to have the disease must be isolated; only the healthy ones are to be vaccinated. This operation, carried out when the infection starts, is usually successful.
    STORAGE
Store in a refrigerator at +2°C to +8°C (avoid freezing).
