Package:
1000-dose vials plus diluentCOMPOSITION
1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 103.2 TCID50
TARGET SPECIES

INDICATIONS
BIO-VAC REO is recommended as initial vaccination of breeding stock against Viral Arthritis.
Best result for control of Viral Arthritis in breeders and progeny are obteined by using both live vaccine during the rearing period and inactivated vaccine before the start of eggs production.DOSAGE
BIO-VAC REO is reconstituted by transferring with a sterile syringe 2-4 ml diluent into the vial containing the freeze-dried vaccine.
When vaccine is dissolved, it is transferred into the bottle containing the remaining diluent. After reconstitution, the vaccine is to be injected within 1 hr subcutaneosly in the back of the neck.
Each dose consists of 0.2 ml of reconstituted vaccine.
In chickens exposed to high and early infection risk, three vaccinations with BIO-VAC REO are recommended at 7-8 days, at 6 and 10 weeks of age, respectively.
This vaccination programme, integrated by a booster vaccination of pullet breeders with inactivated reo-vaccine before the start of lay (17-18 weeks), protects breeders during the rearing and production period against Viral Arthritis and gives protection to progeny through maternally derived antibodies.STORAGE

ENCEFAL-VAC
FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST AVIAN ENCEPHALOMYELITIS
Package: 1000-dose vials
COMPOSITION
1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 103 EID50
TARGET SPECIES
Target Species.
INDICATIONS
Vaccinal prophylaxis of Avian Encephalomyelitis of future layers and parents.
DOSAGE
The most appropriate age for the vaccination is between the 3rd and 4th month; the chickens to be vaccinated must be in good general health.
It is advisable to maintain an interval of 14 days from other vaccinations. Chickens younger than 2 months or in the laying period should not be vaccinated; therefore vaccination must be performed at least 1 month before the laying period. The vaccination does not give rise to abnormal responses in the animals if the suggested age (3-4 months) for the vaccination is observed.
A strong immunity is established about 1 month after the vaccination and lasts for a complete laying period.
Immunity is passively transmitted from the hens to the chicks through the egg, so that the chicks will remain immune for the first weeks of life.STORAGE

IBA-VAC
FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE (IBD)
Package:
1000-dose vials
2500-dose vials
5000-dose vialsCOMPOSITION
1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 103 EID50
TARGET SPECIES
Poultry.
INDICATIONS
Prophylaxis of Infectious Bursal disease.
DOSAGE
IBA-VAC can be administered both to broilers and light and heavy layers; one application is enough to induce a long lasting immunity. The most appropriate age for the vaccination is at around the 3rd week of life in order to avoid the contrasting action of maternal antibodies which are present in the chickens for a considerable time.
Taking into account the difficulties in delaying the penetration of the infection on farms, even if valid measures of direct prevention are adopted (disinfection, “all in-all out”, isolation, ecc.), vaccination at 12-15 days of life is advisable.
Immunity is established after 10-15 days from vaccination, also in relation to the level of passive maternal antibodies.STORAGE

VAIOL-VAC
FREEZE-DRIED LIVE VACCINE AGAINST FOWL POX
Package: 1000-dose vials plus diluent
COMPOSITION
1 dose of vaccine contains: not less than 104 EID50
TARGET SPECIES
Poultry.
INDICATIONS
Prophylaxis of Fowl Pox.
DOSAGE
Dissolve the contents of the vial in the diluent, then shake it until complete dissolving takes place; pour a small quantity of the ready-to-use vaccine into the plastic container in the box; dip the needles of the apposite applicator into the reconstituted vaccine, then pierce the wing’s cutaneous fold (perform vaccination with only one needle when dealing with animals of less than 6 weeks).
The onset of a nodular swelling in the site of inoculation (after 6 days from the injection) means that the vaccination has been successful.
The vaccination can be performed on healthy chickens of every age and in any season of the year.
Chickens vaccinated earlier than 5-6 weeks of age acquire a short-lived immunity. In this case, it is advisable to revaccinate parents and layers before the beginning of the laying period.
In cases of urgent prevention, given the slow propagation of the Fowl Pox infection, the birds affected by or suspected to have the disease must be isolated; only the healthy ones are to be vaccinated. This operation, carried out when the infection starts, is usually successful.STORAGE
